Hi, I’m Hekmet!
More commonly known as Heks. :)
I’m a multidisciplinary creative by way of Texas and Ethiopia, and the founder and creative director behind Heks Code.
Before Heks Code was a studio, it was my finsta account. A personal archive of the colors, objects, places and moments that inspired me. After leaving my 9-to-5 in 2024, that archive evolved into a creative practice and, eventually, the studio that Heks Code is today.
My work is rooted in curiosity, experimentation and community. I find joy in exploring what flowers can become and how they can transform an arrangement, object, tablescape, installation or entire environment.
